Nigeria’s Federal Government has ordered the closure of 41 out of its 104 unity colleges.
A circular from the Federal Ministry of Education addressed to all principals and signed by the Director of Senior Secondary Education, Binta Abdulkadir said sequel to the recent security challenges in some parts of the country
and the need to prevent any security breaches, the Minister of
Education has approved the immediate closure of the listed Federal Unity
Colleges with immediate effect.
The circular directed the principals of affected unity colleges to ensure strict compliance.

FGGC ZARIA, FGC GUSAU,
FTC KAFANCHAN,
FGGC BAKORI and
FTC DAYI.
Others are FGC DAURA,

FTC WURNO,
FGC ANKA, FGGC KAZAURE,
FGGC GWANDU,
FGC BIRNIN YAURI and
FTC ZURU.
The list also includes;

FGGC BIDA, FGC NEW-BUSSA,
FTC KUTA-SHIRORO,
FGA SULEJA,
