Fire outbreak has been reported at the ECOWAS Commission Secretariat in Asokoro District of Abuja, the Nigerian capital.
As at the time ait.live arrived the scene, fire fighters were seen putting out the fire that has reportedly affected the floor accommodating the Department of Finance and Account of the Commission.

No official was willing to speak on the incident as security operatives also prevented our crew from covering the fire incident and efforts to control the outbreak
