Former Kaduna State Governor and 2003 presidential candidate of Peoples Redemption Party, PRP, Balarabe Musa, dies at 84.
Balarabe Musa was elected in 1979 and became the first state governor to be impeached in Nigeria. He was impeached by the Kaduna State House of Assembly on June 23, 1981.
Former Governor Musa resigned from active politics and as national chairman of PRP on August 31, 2010 due to health issues.

He will be buried this Wednesday in Kaduna State according to Islamic rites.
