Plateau State Governor, Caleb Mutfwang has imposed a 24-hour curfew on Mangu Local Government Area, following recent attacks that led to loss of lives and properties.
The Governor in a statement signed by his Director of Press and Public affairs Gyang Bere, said the decision to impose the curfew on the entire council Area was taken after a consultation with the Government and State Security Council in other to restore law and order in the affected areas.
The statement further disclosed that movements within the Local Government area have been banned until further notice except for security personnel and persons on essential duties.

Security agencies have also been directed to ensure total enforcement of the curfew.
Twelve people, have so far been confirmed killed at Sabon Gari community of Mangu with Some houses also razed down following a Fresh Attack in the early hours of Sunday.
Meanwhile, the governor has assured Citizens that the government is working round-the-clock to restore peace and security in the state.
