Governor Abba Yusuf has announced the reinstatement of the dethroned 14th emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamidi Sanusi after signing the Kano Emirates Council law repeal bill.
Governor Yusuf consequently gave five emirs appointed under the repealed Emirates Council law 48 hours to vacate official residences and handover properties to state government.
