The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has struck out the names of David Mark and Rauf Aregbesola from its records as National Chairman and National Secretary of the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
INEC says it will also not recognise Nafiu Bala Gombe, who is seeking to assume leadership through the courts.
The Commission announced it will not monitor any conventions or congresses organised by any faction of the party, pending the final determination of the case before the Federal High Court
This follows the ongoing leadership tussle within the ADC and a recent ruling by the Court of Appeal.
INEC maintains it remains neutral and committed to credible elections, urging political actors to avoid actions that could disrupt preparations for the 2027 polls.
