The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB has withdrawn the 2023 UTME result of Ms. Ejikeme Joy Mmesoma, who is also barred from participating in the UTME for the next three years.

JAMB says it took the decision after considering the weighty infraction committed by Ms. Mmesoma, and in line with its established procedures.

A statement issued this Tuesday by the Spokesman of JAMB, Fabian Benjamin insists that the UTME result being paraded by Ms. Joy Mmesoma is patently fake.

The examinations body maintains that its system was neither tampered with nor compromised, noting that the candidate simply falsified a copy of a result slip of another candidate named “Asimiyu Mariam Omobolanle”, who took the UTME in 2021 and scored 138.

Ms. Mmesoma had in a video trending on social media debunked allegations that she falsified her UTME result, saying she does not have the capacity to alter JAMB’s result portal and has no reason to do so since she has always been a brilliant student right from her nursery classes.
