The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), on Tuesday arraigned former Kaduna State Governor, Malam Nasir El-Rufai, at the Federal High Court in Kaduna under tight security.
Security personnel were heavily deployed around the Court premises, restricting movement and controlling access to the venue.
Journalists and members of the public were barred from entering the courtroom, limiting coverage of the proceedings.
No official reason was provided for barring journalists from accessing the courtroom.
The development comes as the anti-graft agency continues prosecution of the former Governor over allegations of corruption-related offences.
