Kogi State gets 1 more Covid-19 case as Nigeria records 454 new infections

Kogi State now has 5 confirmed cases of Covid-19 following 1 new infection announced by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC.

Data from the Centre shows that Nigeria recorded 454 new Covid-19 infections in 19 states bringing the total number to

The breakdown of the 454 new Covid-19 infections shows that Lagos State has 87; Edo-63; FCT-60; Ondo-41; Benue-32; Abia-31; Ogun-29; Oyo-19 and Kaduna-17. Other are Delta-16; Enugu-15; Borno-14; Plateau-9; Nasarawa-8; Kano-5; Bauchi-4; Gombe-2; Katsina and Kogi-1.

Wife of Benue State Governor, Dr. Eunice Ortom, her son and staff are among the 32 new Covid-19 cases in the State

Meanwhile, 268 Covid-19 patients have been discharged across Nigeria bringing the total number of successfully treated cases to 11,069.

There are 12 new Covid-19 fatalities recorded in Nigeria with the death toll now at 628.
