There are 162 new Covid-19 infections reported in 15 states across Nigeria bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 54,905.
The 15 states with new Covid-19 cases include Lagos-53; Gombe-21; Oyo-19; Delta-12; Ondo-11; Plateau-10; Ebonyi-9. Others are FCT and Kwara-6 each; Kaduna-5; Rivers-3; Ogun, Anambra and Imo-2 each; Ekiti-1.
Meanwhile, 106 Covid-19 patients recovered from the infection with total number of successfully treated cases now 42,922.
There are 3 new Covid-19 fatalities recorded in Nigeria with national death toll rising to 1,054.
