Latest data from the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC indicates that 7 more Covid-19 fatalities were reported in Nigeria in the last 24 hours with the death toll rising to 992. This is 8 fatalities short of 1,000.
There are 476 new Covid-19 infections recorded in 18 states bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 50,964.
States with new Covid-19 cases include Lagos-235; FCT-44; Kaduna-41; Borno-33; Plateau-28; Abia and Edo-13 each; Rivers-12; Imo-11 and Oyo-10.

Others are Kano-9; Kwara-7; Enugu and Katsina-5 each; Gombe and Ogun-4 each; Nasarawa and Zamfara-1 each.
Meanwhile, 265 Covid-19 patients have been discharged from treatment centres across Nigeria with the total number of successfully treated cases now 37,569.
