A total of 16 states in Nigeria have reported new cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours. This brings the number of confirmed cases in the country since the index case on February 27 to 58,198.
Lagos has 41 new cases; Ogun-27; Rivers-19; Abia-10; Oyo and Plateau-6 each; Bauchi and Ondo-5 each; Ekiti and Kaduna-4 each; Edo-3; Ebonyi-2; Bayelsa, Delta, Osun and Yobe-1 each.
There 116 Covid-19 patients discharged across Nigeria within the period under review with the total number of successfully treated cases now 49,722.

Meanwhile, 3 more Covid-19 related fatalities have been recorded in the country with the national death toll put at 1,106.
