The Covid-19 death toll in Nigeria has risen to 669 following 15 new fatalities. This is as the country recorded 503 new Covid-19 cases in 20 states with the total number of confirmed cases now 29,879
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC reports that Lagos State has 153 of the new Covid-19 infections with 76 in Ondo State; Edo-54; FCT-41; Enugu-37; Rivers-30; Benue-24; Osun-20; Kaduna-15 and Kwara-13.
Abia State has 9 of the new cases; Borno-8; Plateau-6; Taraba-5; Ogun and Kano-3 each; Kebbi and Nasarawa-2 each; Bayelsa and Gombe-1 each.

There are now over 12,000 successfully treated Covid-19 cases in Nigeria as 280 discharged patients take total to 12,108.
