The total number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in Nigeria is now 56,956. This follows the report of 221 new infections in 18 states across the country.
Lagos has 59 new cases; Abia-46; FCT-22; Gombe-20; Plateau-17; Rivers-11; Bauchi-7; Benue, Ekiti and Imo-6 each. Others include Kaduna, Kwara and Ondo-4 each; Ogun and Osun-3 each; Bayelsa, Edo and Kano-1 each

There are 213 Covid-19 patients discharged across Nigeria with the number of successfully treated cases now 48,305.
Meanwhile, 1 more patient dies of Covid-19 related complications in Nigeria as national death toll is put at 1,094
