There are 79 new Covid-19 cases reported in 13 states in Nigeria with the total number of confirmed cases in the country now 56,256.
The new Covid-19 cases are recorded in Lagos-30; Kaduna-17; Ogun-7; Anambra-5; Kano-4; Katsina, FCT, and Akwa Ibom-3 each; Oyo and Rivers-2 each; Delta, Plateau, and Ondo-1 each.

Meanwhile, 64 Covid-19 patients have been discharged across Nigeria bringing the total number of successfully treated cases to 44,152.
The latest figures from the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC show that there were 4 Covid-19 related fatalities in Nigeria in the last 24 hours. This brings the national death toll now 1,082.
