The total number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in Nigeria has jumped to 14,554 as the country within 48 hours sets its own new record of highest daily infections following 681 new cases. The last highest number of new infections was barely on Tuesday when 663 cases were confirmed by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC.

Meanwhile, 143 patients have been discharged in the last 24 hours with the number of successfully treated cases in Nigeria now 4,494 and death toll 387 following 5 new fatalities
