The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has confirmed 229 new infections in 15 states bringing the total number of cases in the country to 8,068.
The 229 new cases are in Lagos-90, Katsina-27, Imo-26, Kano-23, FCT-14, Plateau-12, Ogun-9, Delta-7, Borno and Rivers-5 each, Oyo-4, Gombe-3, Osun-2, Anambra and
Bayelsa-1 each.
Meanwhile, 48 Covid-19 patients have been discharged across Nigeria bringing the total number of successfully treated cases to 2,263 as 7 new fatalities take death toll to 233.
