Number of daily COVID-19 infections in Lagos State drops to 38

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has confirmed 260 new Covid-19 cases in Nigeria. The figures show a significant drop in the number of new infections in Lagos State while Abia State on the other hand has its single highest cases in one day.

With the 260 new Covid-19 infections in the country, the total number of confirmed cases since the outbreak was first reported a little over 100 days ago is 12,486.

The 260 new cases are recorded in Abia-67; FCT-40; Lagos-38; Ogun-19; Gombe-16; Edo-14; Imo-9; Kwara, Katsina, Nasarawa and Borno-8 each.

The other cases are in Kaduna-6; Bauchi-5
Ekiti-4; Niger, Ondo, Plateau, Kano and Sokoto-2 each.

There are 12 new Covid-19 fatalities in the country taking the death toll to 354 as 133 patients are discharged nationwide with total number of successfully treated cases now 3,959.
