The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has reported 417 new Covid-19 cases in 17 states. This is higher than the number of daily new infections recorded in recent days with the total number of confirmed cases now 49,485.
The new Covid-19 cases have been recorded in Lagos-207; Kaduna-44; Ondo-38; Abia-28; Anambra-21; Plateau-20 and Bauchi-13.
Others are Oyo and Ebonyi-9 each; Delta and Edo-7 each; Enugu-6; Niger-3; Gombe-2; Ogun, FCT and Kano-1 each
There are 337 Covid-19 patients discharged across Nigeria in the last 24 hours with the total number of successfully treated cases rising to 36,834.
Meanwhile, 2 new Covid-19 fatalities have been reported in Nigeria with the national death toll rising at 977.
