The National Caucus of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP has fixed October 30-31 for conduct of emergency National Convention.
The National Convention which is the highest decision making body of the party will elect members of the National Working Committee bringing to an end the 4-year term of Uche Secondus in office.

The National Convention which was supposed to hold in December was brought to October following calls for the removal of Secondus and his team from office.
