The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC is reporting 160 new Covid-19 cases in 13 states. This brings the total number of cases recorded in Nigeria to 59,287.
Rivers State with 42 new Covid-19 cases leads in number of daily infections; Lagos-32; Plateau-21; FCT-18; Kaduna-14; Ogun-11; Katsina-10; Kwara, Ondo and Imo-3 each;
Anambra, Abia and Oyo-1 each.
There are 125 Covid-19 patients discharged across Nigeria in the last 24 hours with the total number of successfully treated cases now 50,718.
Meanwhile, 1 more Covid-19 fatality has been recorded in the country after 48 hours with the national death toll at 1,113.
