Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara had formally defected from the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP to the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.
This is coming after 16 members of the State House of Assembly including the Speaker, Martin Amaewhule declared for the ruling party last week.
