The Nigerian police has been ordered to pay fifteen million naira to the Islamic Movement of Nigeria, IMN also known as the Shiites sect in Nigeria, for the unlawful killing of three of its members.
This verdict was handed down by the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja.

Justice Taiwo Taiwo also ordered the National Hospital, Abuja, to immediately release the corpses of the victims to the IMN.
