The Kogi State governorship election petitions tribunal has dismissed the suit filed by the Social Democratic Party, SDP, and its governorship candidate in Kogi State, Natasha Akpoti, challenging the November 16, 2019, election that returned Governor Yahaya Bello as winner.

The tribunal headed by Justice Kasheem Kangama held that testimonies given by the petitioner’s witnesses amount to hearsay and are doubtful, non-logical and of no probative value.
