Founder of Adeleke University, Dr. Deji Adeleke has warned his brother, the Governor-elect of Osun State, in South-West Nigeria, Ademola Adeleke that he will be the first to expose him if he performs below expectation as the Governor of the State.
The brother, who spoke at the eighth convocation ceremony of his University also said apart from the challenge of good leadership that was affecting the country, Nigeria was also not having the best followership.
Adeleke, who decried the exchange of votes for monetary gain, said he told his brother and some Peoples Democratic Party Governors, that since the Governor-elect would not be refunding money to any godfather after the election, he should assemble a good team that would work and improve the living conditions of the people.

According to him, he will not only support his brother to deliver on his electoral promises, but he would also be a whistle-blower against bad governance and serve as a guarantor for a government delivering dividends of democracy to the good people of Osun state.
While reaffirming that there will be no godfatherism under his brother, Adeleke asserted that he will be the first to call out the government in cases of governance errors even as he noted that there will be no place for corrupt appointees in the new administration
Deji Adeleke is the father of popular Nigerian music artiste, David Adeleke with the stage name “Davido”.
