President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived Addis Ababa, the capital city of Ethiopia ahead of the Second Term inaguaration of the Country’s Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed On Monday.

Prime minister Abiy was re-elected in June 2021 after his party, the Prosperity Party won 410 out of the 436 contested seats in the House of People’s Representatives, giving it an outright majority as announced by the national election board of the country.

President Muhammadu Buhari who arrived at the New VIP Terminal of the Bole international airport in Addis Ababa was received by the Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed as well as members of his cabinet including Nigerian delegation.

The Nigerian president is billed to deliver a goodwill message at the Inauguration ceremony and attend a state banquet in honour of visiting heads of states and government.
Among other dignitaries also expected to grace the inauguration is Africa union’s high representative for the Horn of Africa Nigeria’s former president Olusegun Obasanjo and some other African leaders.
