48 hours before the Presidential Election, President Muhammadu Buhari is chairing a Security Council meeting at the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa Abuja.
Present at the meeting are Service Chiefs, the Chief Of Defence Staff, the Inspector General Of Police, heads of the secret police (SSS) and the National Intelligence Agency.

Also in attendance is the Vice President.
Before the commencement of the security meeting,
Buhari presided over the launch of security equipment donated by the Coalition Against Covid-19 (CACOVID).
The private-sector-led initiative donated over 300 vehicles, state-of-the-art security equipment and gadgets to the Nigerian Government, as it winds down its commitment, 2years after it was conceived to assist the government in responding to socio-economic problems, caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.
