Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari says there is no way a country can develop, if it is hampered by severe deficit in infrastructure.
The President spoke on Tuesday at the State House, Abuja, while receiving the outgoing Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Nigeria, Dr Zhou Pingjian, at a virtual farewell audience.
He added that China had played its role effectively in all the Memoranda of Understanding signed with Nigeria, “and we quite appreciate it.”
In a statement by his special adviser on media and publicity Femi Adesina, President Buhari said he had keenly followed the “highly mobile” activities of Dr Pingjian in the past four years, spread across the country.
