The Federal Government of Nigeria has reiterated its continued commitment to support Bauchi State in the promotion and execution of developmental projects across the state.




President Muhammadu Buhari made the commitment during the commissioning ceremony of the Third National Urban Water Sector Reform Project in Bauchi State, North-East Nigeria.
Over the years, Bauchi State has been experiencing perennial water scarcity, that negatively undermined the progress and development of the state, particularly in the areas of water, sanitation and hygiene.
Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed said with the execution of the over ,twenty-three point five billion naira project, the water scarcity in Bauchi will be a thing of the past.




The governor commended and appreciated President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration, in helping the state towards the actualization of the projects.
President Mohammadu Buhari, represented by the Secretary To The Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, said the execution of the water project, will help in bringing new life to the people of Bauchi.
He assured of the Federal Government’s continued support, in ensuring sustainability, in subsequent developmental projects.
Buhari also commended the governor, especially in the areas of executing various infrastructural projects, such as the inter-city and rural road projects, which are helping in shaping the outlook of the state.
Being the custodian of culture and tradition, the president paid homage to the Emir of Bauchi, Rilwanu Sulaiman, where he said the visit is a mark of honour and respect, always shown to the palace.
He assured the traditional institution of government’s support, towards promoting peace and unity across the country.
