President Muhammadu Buhari will later Today proceed to London, the United Kingdom, for routine medical checks that will last for a maximum of two weeks.
This was confirmed by the Special adviser to the president on media and publicity Femi Adesina via his Twitter handle @femiadesina.

The statement added that the President will return to the country second week of November 2022.
President Buhari had on Monday chaired an emergency national security council meeting over the recent terror alert by the United States mission, after which he proceeded to Owerri, Imo state to declare open a retreat for senior police officers.
