Buhari, 19 other suspected rapists apprehended by Bauchi police

The police in Bauchi State says it is set to charge to court, one Muhammad Buhari for the rape of a fourteen year old girl in cohort with the victim’s brother, Dahiru Aliyu.

The incident is alleged to have occurred on the 6th of August.

According to a statement by the Police public Relations officer in Bauchi, Ahmad Wakili, both men are among twenty others in custody for rape-related offences.

The statement adds that a report was also received at Misau police station that one Usman Adamu alkegedly conspired with Adamu Muhammad, Nura Musa and Khalid Abdullahi and abducted a 14 years old girl. kept her in a house located at the same Nasarawa area of the town for almost a month and repeatedly raped the survivor.

Also on the last of July, a forty sux year old Umar Mohammed alias wulas in Azare town, in the northern part of the state lured his fifteen year old daughter with fifty Naira, removed her clothes and had carnal knowledge of her in her mother’s room.

Other suspects such as one Ibrahim Mohammed 45 years took a 11years boy to his house and sodomized him.

The statement also adds that in the early hours of the 1st of this month, one Musa Mohammed 41 years of Sabon garin Galan Sade village Of Darazo GA raped a seven year old girl in an adjourning farm.

One Muhammad (surname not indicated) of Tsohon Tasha in Dass, attempted to rape a 6-year old girl in an uncompleted building at Unguwan Sarki Gangare.

Three other men, Nazif Mohammed, Ukasha Abubakar and Ibrahim Umar of Sabon kaura village are also in custody and will be charged to court for allegrly raping a 13 year old girl.
