Hundreds of hoodlums have taken to the streets of Calabar, the Cross River State Capital, where they looted and burnt some major public property including the Nigeria Labour Congress.

The Calabar Municipality Zonal Office of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) office and other major private shopping malls, including Value Mart, owned by the wife of the former governor of Cross River State, Obioma Liyel Imoke.

Hundreds of youths under the guise of EndSARS protesters on Friday night went against the curfew order and engaged in looting, vandalizing and destroying public and private property on the major streets of Calabar.
