The Benue State Chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) wants President Muhammadu Buhari to immediately reverse its visa on arrival policy to check the influx of militia herdsmen and other security threats to the country.
Benue State CAN chairman Akpen Leva who made the call while addressing newsmen in Makurdi the state capital commiserated with Nigerians whose relatives have been abducted or killed by the suspected herdsmen.
In its Press conference tagged ‘why Buhari must act fast to save Nigeria from a 2nd civil war’ executive members of the Christian Association of Nigeria Benue faulted the President’s open visa policy.

The Christian pressure group also urged the Federal government to officially ban open grazing as a solution to the country’s current security crisis.
It also urged Christians to continue to pray for the peace and unity of the country.
