Residents of Kaduna who are business owners have expressed their dissatisfaction over the Central Bank of Nigeria CBN new policy on cash withdrawal limit of five hundred thousand naira for an individual account in a week and five million naira for a corporate account.
The business owners who spoke with the ait.live in a cross-section interview in Kaduna said the five hundred thousand and five million naira is not enough for them to do business in a week.
A point-of-sale POS agent Franca Anthony and Friday Charter a site supervisor said that they are facing difficulty in their businesses due to the Apex Bank’s new policy.
The people called on the National Assembly and the Apex Bank to review the cash limit policy for businesses to thrive in Nigeria.
