Catholic Bishops in Plateau task Lalong to be proactive on security matters

This was made known at an emergency meeting in Jos, while addressing insecurity in the state and the need for government to be more proactive in tackling the crisis.

The catholic bishops of Plateau state , noted that human life is sacred and so must not be toyed with under whatever guise.

While they want the perpetrators to be brought to book, the Bishops also tasked government to look at the plight of the displaced people.

They equally called on the security operatives, to step up their game and advised citizens of the state to embrace peace as a way forward.

The Catholic Bishops of Jos, shendam and Pankshin, have called on the Plateau State Government, to always be Proactive in responding to early warning and distress calls regarding security of the people, as this will go a long way to stop the senseless killings of the innocent citizens.
