The Children, family members, friends and associates of the late founder of DAAR communications PLC, Raymond Dokpesi converged on the sacred heart Catholic church Agenebode, Etsako east local government area of Edo state for the first memorial mass and Thanksgiving service in honour of the late Ezomo of weppa Uwanno kingdom.
The Officiating Priest Revered Father Martins Alokwe, urged the children and family members to move on in unity and love as well as sustain the good deeds of late Raymond Dokpesi.
The event was also used to unveil the mausoleum at the Ezomo’s Residence in Agenebode.
Speaking on the theme High Chief Raymond Dokpesi lives on, Reverend Father Martins Alokwe, said Dokpesi’s death was a painful one and urged the children and family members of the late media mogul to move on in unity and love.
Reverend Alokwe Urged them not to allow the good deeds of the founder of DAAR communications PLC diminish.
Family members and children flanked by friends of late Raymond Dokpesi danced to the altar for a special thanksgiving and thereafter proceeded to the residence of the late Ezomo of weppa Uwanno for the unveiling of the mausoleum presided over by the okugbe of Fugar clan, His Royal Majesty Emmanuel Ogah.
High Chief Raymond Dokpesi, the founder of DAAR communications PLC died on May 29, 2023, at the age of 71 and was buried on June 22nd same year at his hometown in Agenebode, Edo State.
