A catholic priest Rev. Fr Cyprian Kooro, of catholic diocese of Portharcourt has slumped and died while celebrating sunday mass.
The sad incident happened on sunday at St Helen catholic church ogbogoro in Rivers state.
According to a parishioner who confirmed the sad incident, the priest slumped and died while conducting sunday mass in his parish in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

The source said: “Our priest slumped and died today during first mass in our parish this morning. He slumped after delivering his homily”.
He said other officials of the church immediately surrounded the priest and rushed him to the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital (UPTH).
Another source from UPTH said he saw them bringing the priest to the hospital adding that he was later pronounced dead by medical personnels in the hospital.
The cause of his death could not be ascertained as autopsy has not been conducted.
