No Nigerian is guaranteed automatic access to intervention funds by the Central Bank of Nigeria CBN, and no organization has neither been appointed nor accredited as agent for any investment schemes at Nigeria’s apex bank.
The Acting Director Corporate Communications Osita Nwanisobi made this known in a statement adding that Youths and owners of small scale businesses in Nigeria were particularly advised to disregard fraudulent loan offers and investment schemes on social media purportedly facilitated by the CBN.

Nwanisobi noted that while the apex bank has several development finance intervention programs it does not do so through direct interaction with prospective applicants.
Nigerians were also advised against paying fees on the pretext that organizations are endorsed and guarantee easy access to CBN loans
Anyone applying for loans to mitigate the impact of covid-19 were advised to follow the spelt out procedure for accessing such intervention and seek Clarification from appropriate channels
