ARSENAL

Ahead of the first leg of their Champions League semifinal clash with Paris Saint-Germain, Arsenal have been accused of trying to break a UEFA rule.

Arsenal will host the Ligue1 side at the Emirates on Tuesday, April 29.

According to one of the rules of UEFA, clubs have to allocate 5% of seats to away fans, which means that PSG can have 3000 fans at the Emirates.

However, report says Arsenal are trying to reduce the number to 2500.

According to the report, the ticket office in the away end at Arsenal stadium has not opened yet, even though there are only six days left for the game.

Fans of the away team are now in the dark regarding the matter and are unable to purchase tickets for the encounter

Arsenal defeated PSG 2-0 in the earlier stage of the Champions League this season with 3000 fans of PSG in the stands.

The Gunners are trying to reduce the number of opposition fans in the stands for the upcoming game, and have provided no reason for their decision.

The French side is reportedly fighting for its due, but signs are ominous so far.

Arsenal were also accused of breaking FA Cup allocation rules in January against Manchester United.

Manchester United were entitled to have 9000 fans in the stands, but the Gunners allowed only 8000.
