“O God, our help in ages past,

Our hope for years to come,

Our shelter from the stormy blast,

And our eternal home…”

What a blessing it is to be alive on this first day of 2025!

These are the words of one of my father’s favorite hymns, and through the years, I have found deep comfort in the timeless truth of its lyrics. I remember watching my father sing these words when we had so little, and yet, even in the toughest of times, the hymn seemed to fuel his unwavering trust in God.

Today, I stand as a living testament to the truth that God is indeed our shelter from every storm. He doesn’t just offer shelter; He establishes and strengthens all who place their trust in Him.

None of us knows what 2025 will bring, but we lift our eyes to the hills, trusting that whatever this year holds, our help is certain in Almighty God. As the hymn says, our hope for the year ahead is secure in His hands.

I encourage you to step into this new year with your head held high, knowing that the One who has carried you through the triumphs and trials of 2024 will establish and guide you through 2025.

Welcome to your year of ease, where trusting in God guarantees your success in every way.

Happy New Year!

May 2025 be filled with His peace, purpose, and abundant blessings.
