Nigeria’s Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Hassan Abubakar, is emphasizing the need for a comprehensive strategy to address the country’s security challenges.
Abubakar contended that while 25% of security issues, especially those of internal concerns, can be tackled through kinetic measures, the remaining 75% requires what he terms the “role of government approach.”
This viewpoint was shared during a courtesy visit to Enugu State Governor, Peter Mbah at the Government House in Enugu, South East Nigeria.
Air Marshal Abubakar explained that the “role of government” approach include; eradicating poverty, illiteracy, and other factors that contribute to criminality.
