The Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa on Saturday declared opened the 2025 Golf for Peace Tournament aimed at promoting peace campaigns.
The event which held in Benin City had personalities from all spheres of life in attendance.
Shortly after receiving the Golf for Peace Torch, the Chief of Defence Staff General Christopher Musa declared the 2025 Golf tournament at the Benin Golf Course open.
Represented by Major General Ahmed Taiwo, General Christopher Musa emphasized the importance of military civilian collaboration in maintaining internal peace which aligns with the non-kinetic approach of the current leadership among Security Chiefs.
One after another, members of the Golf for Peace Tournament performed the traditional Tee Off which signaled the start of the competition aimed at creating a robust relationship between the military and civilians
The Chief of Defence Staff, serves as the Lead, Peace Advocate for National Dialogue, Unity, and Peace.
