Chineese Envoy tasks political parties on using congresses for national development

The Chinese ambassador to Nigeria, CUI JIANCHUN, wants political parties in Nigeria to learn from the style adopted by the communist Party of China during Congresses to strengthen their structures with a view to better serving the Nigerian people.

The Chinese envoy gave the advice at a dialogue on the outcomes and Significance of the 20th National Congress of the Communist party of China organized by the China study center in Abuja on Wednesday.

This dialogue organized by the China study center is to review the 20th Congress of the CPC. Chinese Ambassador to Nigeria, CUI JIANCHUN, believes Political parties in Nigeria can share ideas with Communists Party of China, CPC, to build their structures with a view to delivering dividends of democracy to the Nigerian people.

He also hinted that china was looking forward to inviting African politicians in the nearest future to engage with their counterparts in China for the growth and development of both countries.

The director, China Study Centre, says party congresses in Nigeria should be focused on solving problems and how to develop the country.

For Senator Shehu Sani, there is a lot to learn from China and the Communist Party of China which meets every five years to review progress made, examine challenges and the way forward.

Five years ago, a dialogue to examine the outcomes of the 19th National Congress of the CPC in 2019 predicted more robust and tangible outcomes in the cooperation’s between China and Africa.
