The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) says, the change of service chiefs is an opportunity to prove critics wrong, that the military is not capable of bringing to an end, the country’s security challenges.

The Chairman of CAN, Kaduna State Chapter, Reverend Joseph Hayap, said this during an interdenominational prayer summit, for the new service chiefs in Kaduna.

He called on them to inject new ideas that will address the security ills of the country.

The interdenominational prayer summit, was organised to pray for the success of the new service chiefs, in their quest to address the security challenges of the nation.

The Chairman, Christian Association of Nigeria, Kaduna State Chapter, Reverend Joseph Hayap said that supporting the new service chiefs with prayers is key, if they must succeed in giving Nigerians a new lease of life.

He noted that the new service Chiefs, must prove to critics that the Nigerian military is an indivisible entity, capable of addressing the country’s security situation.

The CAN Chairman said that, Nigerians should give the new service chiefs the needed support, by providing the necessary information that will help in nipping the current insecurity in the bud.
