A group under the aegis of Concerned Christian Leaders on the Plateau (CCP) has berated the Plateau State Governor, Simon Lalong for accepting the position of the Director General of a Muslim Muslim Presidential Ticket- Tinubu/Shetima campaign Organisation.
The group made their position known through the Convener Rev. Benard Kyenson, while addressing newsmen in Jos the Plateau State capital.
They wondered why the APC could not find a competent Christian from the North as a vice presidential candidate but would suddenly turn around and appoint Governor Simon Lalong of Plateau State as its Campaign Director-General for the Tinubu/ Shetima Ticket.
The group berated Governor Lalong over the acceptance of the Position adding that the move only portrays Christians as only Good at soliciting for vote.
They advised Governor Lalong to reject the offer as Plateau Christians will not support him.
The Group also lent its voice on the controversial Plan of the Plateau state Government to sign an MOU with Jaiz bank for the rebuilding of the Jos main market, urging the state government to deepen its consultation with the people.
