As Christians in Bauchi State, north east Nigeria join their counterparts across the globe to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, they pray for an end to Covid-19 and insecurity challenges in the country.
Our correspondent reports that the celebration was peaceful in all the churches visited.
Worshippers expressed optimism that despite the challenges the nation is facing, there is hope ahead with God.

In their sermons, the clergymen explained that the significance of Christmas is the love personified in the body of Christ Jesus.
