Cross River State Governor, Professor Ben Ayade, says the State owned chicken processing factory, Calachika, has been hit by soaring demands due to Christmas celebration, despite its capacity of 240,000 birds per day,

Governor Ayade made this known during and on the spot assessment of patronage of the factory located along Goodluck Jonathan Bye-pass in Càlabar.
