The Gombe State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Gombe says it handled four thousand three hundred and fifty-nine cases in 2023 out of which three thousand one hundred and sixty-eight cases were concluded.
State Commandant, Muhammadu Bello Muazu who disclosed the figures as part of its 2023 report says the command realised the sum of two hundred and forty-four million, two hundred and thirteen thousand, six hundred and thirty-four naira revenue for the year.
He said majority of the activity came from the Anti Fraud unit of the command.
On the story involving boys allegedly engaged in homosexual activities, the commandant said it accounts for a number of the one thousand one hundred and ninety one thousand cases the corps is handling.
