Civil Rights Activist Omoyele Sowore Says He Will Always Be Available For Questioning

Hours after civil rights activisit was detained and released by security operatives at the Murtala Muhammed international airport, Lagos state, the former presidential candidate says he is available anytime for questioning.

Sowore said this in a Telephone conversation with AIT’s Funke ogunlolu on Sunday after he was detained and released by security operatives on arrival from the United States.

The African Action Congress presidential candidate in the 2023 elections said the security agents did not state categorically the reason for his arrest.

Sowore insists that he is committed to defending the rights of Nigerians and bad governance.

He was picked up by officials of the Nigerian immigration service upon arrival from the United States.

Last week, the Department of state service in a statement, directed the arrest of Sowore.
