Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi gave the directive in a statement in government house Enugu.

Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi had in March 2020 during the outbreak of coronavirus directed all workers in the state to work from home till further notice except those on essential services.

Governor Ugwuanyi reminded the workers the need to adhere strictly to laid down preventive measures for containment of the spread of Coronavirus disease.

In his reaction, the state’s acting head of service, Ken Chukwuegbo shortly after decontamination and fumigation of the state Secretariat complex, applauded the sustained commitment of Governor Ugwuanyi towards the well- being and safety of the workers.
